The Career Resource Center (CRC)

The Corporate Resource Center (CRC) plays an imperative role in shaping up the career of students from orientation, internships, projects, summer training to their final placements. Our goal is to assist the students to be successful in their career development and job placement activities. The Center shoulders the responsibility of organizing in-campus interviews for student training and placement.

Key Responsibilities of Corporate Resource Center (CRC) at Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC)

  • Organizing industrial visits and summer training sessions
  • Counseling students on career growth and over all development
  • Regular connect with eminent corporate houses/ industries for the placement of graduating students
  • Organizing different workshops for harnessing Professional Development and communication skills,
  • Involving students in group discussions to build confidence and imbibing interview facing techniques
  • Ensuring the students are placed with the best of the companies across various streams at attractive packages

Thus, managing Corporate-Institute interface is a primary responsibility of this center. The Corporate Resource Center (CRC) center helps to prepare students for external work environment by conducting pre-placement talks and interview sessions. It encourages students to work on live projects which help them match classroom teaching with industry practices. It gives us great satisfaction that our Corporate Resource Center is continuously delivering positive results and will better it year on year.
