Department of CSE, CGC COE in collaboration with Developers Student Club powered by Google organized an Inaugural Ceremony of the new DSC powered by Google.

About the Event: The ceremony was inaugurated by S. Satnam Singh Sandhu, Chairman of Chandigarh Group of Colleges and S. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President, Chandigarh Group of Colleges, and Dr. Vikas Dhawan, Director Principal CGC College of Engineering. The program started with a lamp lightening ceremony and welcome speech given by Dr. Vikas Dhawan. Dr. Anuj Gupta welcomed everybody. Mr. Manpreet Singh Bajwa, Faculty Coordinator, introduced the audience with the theme of the seminar. All the faculty members lightened the lamp one by one. The complete ceremony continued from 1:50pm to 3:00pm. More than 100 students of B.tech CSE department and all faculty members attended the ceremony. The ceremony was organized to inaugurate the Developer Student Club and to introduce the students with the club. We appreciated Dr. Vikas Dhawan, Director Principal CGC College of Engineering; Dr. Anuj Kumar Gupta, Head of Department CGC College of Engineering; Mr. Manpreet Singh Bajwa, Branch counselor DSC CGC COE. Dr. Vikas Dhawan, Director Principal CGC College of Engineering appreciated the efforts done by all the faculty members and the student coordinators for their successful inauguration. Event Outcome: The ceremony came up with a great outcome as the students came to know about the new club DSC powered by Google and various Google certifications. Scope for Improvement: The ceremony should be conducted in auditorium so that more students can attend it and get to know about various Google certifications and the Developers Student Club powered by Google.
