FB Note of Seminar on BLOCKCHAIN DEVELOPMENT organized by IEEE Student Branch CGC COE under the aegis of CSE Department CGC COE organized by IEEE Student Branch CGC COE, A Seminar was organized on 22 April 2022.

Event Objective: The Department of CSE, CGC COE in collaboration with IEEE Student Branch CGC COE organized a seminar on Blockchain Development. The event was organized with the motive to enlighten students with the knowledge of Blockchain Development, NFTs, dApps, and many career options in the field of Blockchain Technology.

About the Event: The event was started with great enthusiasm under the guidance of branch councilor Ms. Reecha Sood, IEEE CGC College of Engineering Student Branch. Mr. Vinayak Kalra, who is Chief Executive Officer at Mining Devs and Co-Founder of QuadBTech for 2 years was the speaker. He is graduated from Punjab Engineering College with a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering ·Mr. Vinayak Kalra was a system engineer at Infosys.

The event started at 11:00 am and continued till 1:00 pm in the afternoon on 22 April 2022. The student coordinators introduced the participants to the whole flow of the event.

The main emphasis of the event was based on Blockchain Development, NFTs, dApps many career options in the field of Blockchain Technology. It was organized with the motive to enlighten students with the knowledge of Blockchain Development and how it is going to expand Its wings in next coming years.

The Seminar solved many doubts of the students like "What is Blockchain Technology ", "What is the importance of Blockchain Technology", " Carrer opportunities in the field of Blockchain Technology", and many more.

Mr. Vinayak Kalra has many past experiences in Blockchain development. He explained each and every point in the seminar with such simplicity and ease, that everyone was quite enjoying the learning process. His methods of explaining were quite intuitive, and his efforts were visible. The best part was, that he was also enjoying the teaching process. The Event was so interactive, Students were showing enthusiasm, and were asking their doubts. No nuisance was there, especially regarding the quite number of students.

IEEE CGC COE got a great response from the students who participated as the event was quite wonderful and useful for them.

Scope of improvement: The participants' number could be improved so that more students can get the opportunity to interact with their Seniors and faculties.
