In a moment of immense pride for CGC College of Engineering, Team Code Crusher has emerged victorious at the prestigious Smart India Hackathon 2024 Grand Finale. The team showcased remarkable innovation and technical expertise, earning top honors in the highly competitive event.

The Smart India Hackathon, a nationwide initiative by the Government of India, brings together the brightest minds from across the country to solve real-world problems using technology. Competing against hundreds of talented teams, Team Code Crusher’s innovative solution stood out for its creativity, feasibility, and potential impact.

The team, comprising six skilled and passionate students from CGC College of Engineering, worked tirelessly to develop a solution that addressed the way to easy travel, a website designed to boost local travel. Developed as a unique solution to a problem statement by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell for boosting the Indian tourism industry particularly in hotels and travels, Raahi is a unique, unified platform which will help travellers plan their itineraries, book trains, flights, hotels and cab services. . Their project impressed the jury with its technical brilliance, originality, and ability to address critical challenges.
