Workshop on Virtual Labs

Acquainting the students with advanced knowledge in the field of remote learning, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, CGC-COE has taken an initiative to organize a Workshop on Virtual Labs in Chandigarh Group of Colleges on 17 Nov 2022. The objective of the event was to encourage students to attend such types of sessions in order to systematically foster the culture of community learning amongst all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). The virtual Labs project is an initiative of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India under the aegis of the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). This project is a consortium activity of twelve participating institutes and IIT Delhi is the coordinating institute. The primary mandate of the hands-on workshop was to encourage and nurture young students by supporting them to work with new technologies like Flutter and transform their ideas into practically implemented hybrid applications. The students of the CSE department participated in the event with full enthusiasm.
