It gives me immense pleasure to lead the Department of Computer Science Engineering. CGC-College of Engineering, Landran, Mohali is one of the premier institutions, providing the manifold shades of learning, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities to its students. The college is striving hard towards the goal of providing innovative and quality education with high standards to achieve academic excellence. The process of learning is extremely important in life. What you learn, how you learn and where you learn, plays a crucial role in developing one's intellectual capability, besides career. The very motto of our department is to provide the best environment for quality education, to enhance the problem solving and intellectual capability of students. Along with academic knowledge, CGC-College of Engineering, Landran, Mohali also nurtures its Engineers to face the challenges in life by providing value-added as well as career-building courses to enhance their career prospects. When the IT-driven-world is undergoing rapid enhancement, the industry demands technologically sound engineers for continuous research, innovation, and change. To prepare buddy Computer Science Engineers, College provides its unique 360-degree Development program package to its students through the Training & Placement Program. It also provides the exposure to interact and choose a corporation among a huge number of corporate houses of his choice, through campus placements. CGC-COE, Landran, Mohali is a pioneer in campus placements that has maintained its legacy from the last 21 years. Multiple engineers from the department are serving in the top-notch companies as well as public services. Moreover, several students along with faculty members from the CSE Department are actively involved in research activities as they regularly file patents and get their research papers published in reputed journals.
